G2IS announce new product additions to their range of cashless payment solutions

Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire, 8 May 2008 – G2IS is strengthening its position as the leading cashless payment solutions provider with recent additions to their comprehensive cashless payment suite. The resource and investment made available by G4Tec since the acquisition of G2IS has been fundamental in delivering two new additions to the MYRIAD range of cashless payment solutions.

The MYRIAD Chip & Pin Kiosk allows the user to transfer funds from their bank account to their cashless payment card easily and securely using the latest chip & pin technology. Offering an increased level of security, the unit is in full compliance with the latest banking standards, and operates using the same format as most ATM machines, utilising touch screen technology.

Working in partnership with PayChannel, a leading provider of credit and debit card contactless transaction processing systems, the unit incorporates the robust Hypercom chip & pin card reader technology providing fast authorisation and settlement services with major banks and issuers.

In addition, G2IS also launch the MYRIAD Visitor Card Unit. Simple to operate, the unit dispenses a configured cashless payment card for a set deposit which can be loaded with funds using the MYRIAD Chip & Pin Kiosk or Coin & Note Loaders, allowing visitors to purchase goods on a cashless site. Ideal for large / multiple sites with high volumes of visitors and contractors.

“The Visitor Card Unit can also be used in conjunction with the MYRIAD Refund Unit enabling the visitor to refund any remaining balance on their card.
